    Hi!
So my PC has kept crashing for a while so I reinstalled windows - it runs okay now, but I noticed as soon as I loaded into a map in BeamNG I keep getting weird black spiking.
I have all the newest drivers and have already tried clearing cache.
This once happened to me on a much older computer with an AMD HD7850 2GB - but since I have a RX 480 8GB now I don't think it is because of the age.
I have no idea why this is happening, does anyone have a solution?
(Oops, I forgot to add that I already checked files through steam.)

Try some older drivers and see what happens.

I've also started experiencing this issue recently, I noticed it for the first time on the new automation test track. Although it doesn't seem to affect all maps, the test map is fine while automation and hirochi raceway have the black spikes.

Another thing I've noticed is they don't seem consistent, as I was on Hirochi Raceway and there was a lot of them, but after closing and reopening the game there seemed to be less.

    CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
    GPU: AMD RX480 8GB Sapphire Nitro+
    GPU driver: 18.7.1 (18.20.19.01-180711a-330897E-RadeonSoftwareAdrenalin)
    Windows 10 Version: 1803

Yep, only seen that from some AMD users.

I'd suggest everybody to try some older drivers, maybe they have something wrong in the newer.

I've already tried it, even with the oldest driver availible for my GPU. For some reason still nothing.
Alright so it turned I have a bios from 2016, maybe that'll fix it.
Fixed some bluescreens so I think it will actually do something.
Okay, so, it didn't do anything at all.
I'll try installing the 18.5.1 driver now and see if that'll do anything.
    I hope so.

Hmmm.... I am now on Nvidia, no spiking. What motherboards do you have? Could be bad mobo software.

Yeah, I still maintain that AMD’s drivers are awful. They are literally just bloatware installers that make your GPU run (barely). AMD makes a great product for a great price, but the firmware made me switch to my 1060. Never miss ATI R5 230 days lol.

They improved a lot since ATI days.
Anyhow, Nvidia also had similar issue with one of their drivers that broke the Dynamic Reflections a few months ago. They fixed that, so probably somebody should report that in their (AMD) forum so that they can acknowledge and fix the issue eventually.

Yeah, it was 100% the driver.
Well, happy that my GPU is breaking and that I can switch to a 1070 (I miss my 1080) soon.
I don't like AMD's GPU's anymore, the drivers are annoying and the ReLive crap is just not needed.
Nvidia just keeps it normal with Shadowplay, and they also have better performance (imo)
AMD's CPU's are still pretty awesome, but they have to fix the GPU drivers...

Yea the problem seemed to appear once I updated to the 18.7.1 drivers. (Although it seemed to make rainbow six siege run better, so I'm just gonna live with the black spiking for now)
