    3. In Rotterdam and Utrecht (the Netherlands) you can't enter the city with a diesel car older than 2001 or a petrol car older than 1992 (pre U9).
They installed cameras and you'll be automatically fined if you violate the rule...

4.In Finland you cant have any scoops or any hot rod parts on American cars.

5.In Finland if you own American wagon you have to drive 80 km/h as your maxium speed. Yeah think about that when you drive on highway and you are going 20 km/h slower than others.

Fun fact: the US and the EU version of the volvo 740 had different headlights.

most of you probably already knew that, but i am just throwing that out there.

the US version has dual sealed beam lights while the EU version had aero headlights.

I didn't know that! They've probably just started making the MK2 now haha.

Meanwhile in Bulgaria, you can have any custom license plate you want (words, numbers etc) for about €2000 :D

    1. Never heard about that one. Except if you mean American pickups (or trucks) that are registered as trucks (you need same lisence to drive one as you need to drive a semi truck) and I think older pickups are registered as "open bed vans" or something.

    2. You might have one zero too much on those numbers. And still they have to be really really great condition to cost that much. The most expensive Lancer I found was 45.000€ (2010 EVO X), the most expensive Skyline was 24.000€ (R34 GT-T show car) and the most expensive Challenger was 55.000€ (2012 HEMI).

There aren't much of those cars for sale at this time of the year but the prices won't go much higher than that.

    4. What? http://www.nettiauto.com/dodge/charger/7654573

    5. The tax for imported American wagons was so high that people usually registered them as vans. In 2015 the tax was significantly lowered so it would make sense to convert them back to wagons now. You can just re-register your old wagon so you can get rid of the 80km/h speed limit. (the 80km/h limit was some sort of restriction for vans (and maybe trucks as well) at that time iirc)

    7. Umm, no. Well, the sound limits have come down few years ago but it isn't that bad and most people don't care about them. Some people just put a big muffler for inspection and then take it off later.

    8. Not really. I have only seen one Prius (taxi) in my city and Avensis's and Corollas aren't that common. I think I mostly see VWs, Mercedes-Benzs, BMWs, Skodas etc around here (new cars).

Where the heck do you live really?
