Weird question for the devs, I'm curious

Sorry if this is the wrong category, no idea where to post this. I just have a question out of curiosity that I can't get an answer to myself but the devs definitely know this so I'm asking them. Is there a limit of configurations for a vehicle displayed in the selector? Like, the D-Series has A LOT of configs, and what if someone has A LOT of mods for this vehicle that add many more configs, is there some kind of limit after which new configurations will stop showing up on the list? If there is a limit then how big is it and what happens when you reach it? I know this is a really dumb question but I'm so curious about it and there is no way I could check it myself.
