i have faith in it! i used to run beamng on a laptop from 2011 that was a lenovo g50-70 with an i5 4210u, 6gb ddr 3 ram, intelhd 4400 graphics. i was able to get a solid 30-40 fps on low settings (1366x768) with only 1 car on the grid map. Anything beyond 1 car and it tanked! If anything the resolution will be the major downfall as it usually is.

Yes it should run just fine, I am currently running a i5 6600K and RX 480 and I am getting constant 60 1080P on maps like west coast and Italy with 3 AI cars on map.
