    Hi everyone !

To my amazement I never saw anyone (besides myself) use a tachometer in the Wentward DT40L, BeamNG's famous city bus. And recently I saw that @DaddelZeit made a manual transmission mod for it so I thought 'Why not polish up that old mod I made and time to share'? I made this quite a while ago during the 0.15 era. The textures are far from perfect when looking from close up distances but I calibrated it myself and yes, coming from me, that should make the driver feel quite confident about it's accuracy because I like gauges ! :p

Hope you like and enjoy !

I already found a bug lol.
I'm pretty sure this only happens on Utah:
The glass becomes non-translucent only for the new gauge:

Wow that's a funny one, not sure I can reproduce that one (?). I'll check it out.

    Update:
It also happens on other maps, but only in a specific angle to the sun.

I've also noticed that the glass for the rpm gauge looks a bit funny in general.

Yet still your other gauges aren't affected by that. I've tried remapping the glass texture and there is a tiny improvement but not worth an update yet. I'll try to improve the uniformity of the reflections later today or tomorrow. Currently the original gauge sits underneath the new one so I leveled the new one up a little, that's for not overriding original files. Maybe I should just include the whole cluster in the new slot, That'll probably fix it. Thanks for the quick response :)

Problem fixed, odd reflections are gone and post_fx (@DaddelZeit) shouldn't be a problem anymore. The update is sent to the repo, for those eager to update : the forum update is below. Cache might have to be cleared !

Uhh, I guess you could say this update disimproved it?

Cache clearing didn't fix it sadly.

Now that's strange, I never use alternative graphics settings.. Are the gauges still ok without the rpm gauge selected ?
Everything is fine over here (?)

Yes they are. The rpm gauges only do this on Utah afaik.
Update: It happens on all maps.

And do the rpm gauges work in Utah without your custom postFX setting ? This is very weird because I'm only using a copy the same parts, the only thing that's changed is the texture of the rpm gauge, even the glass isn't changed. I wonder if anyone else has this issue.

No, they don't. I feel like it's something with the shadows. If I remove the my post-fx, the gauges work, but they're still darker than normal.

What bothers me is that I have zero difference as you can see clearly in my vid and I also cleared cache several times yesterday. Have you tried disabling other mods ? This shouldn't be relevant imo but anyway..

    No, that doesn't change anything.

This is disturbing.. even if there's a chance somethings wrong on your side there still oughtn't be a difference between the original part and the mod part. I guess I need to let this sink through for a while.

One more thing for now, did you remove the old zip from your mods folder ? Cause the new one has a different name.
