WIP Wentward Endeavour (New 2024 Bus)

Hi all. I am working on a new body for the Wentward DT40L. It is a new 2024 version, that was made for the European/RHD market.

I'll post more updates as I get further into the build.

So far, I have the outer panels, floor, and roof done. Below are some screenshots showing what it looks like.

If you have any ideas or tips, please let me know. This is my first full vehicle mod, so I am not experienced with JBeaming or anything, and I want this mod to be more than a meshslap

Thanks very much for your kind words. This mod wouldn't be a possibility if I couldn't find a step by step blender modelling guide somewhere. Luckily, I found an extremely in-depth one that goes over everything that I need to know on how to make a good 3D model. Thank you all for the support with this too, I'll be sure to ask for help or suggestions if I need to

So an old, rundown version made for rally racing? Sounds like a cool idea, but that can come later in the process when the model is done

The interior part is nearly completed. The seats, poles, handholds, stop buttons, and the screen at the front top is all done! Next, I will work on the drivers cabin. I might use some MAN or Mercedes inspiration in it, we'll see when its done!

I dont know if I can do LHD. This body was modelled for RHD, so I'd have to flip everything. I'll get RHD done first, and then I'll see if I can do LHD

LHD is realistic lore said is for european markets so italy and much other european countries uses LHD can be for driving it on italy

Drivers cabin and dash is complete! The basics are there, but I'll add the customisations later, such as ALMEX, IBIS2, Microphone, Schedule, Tachograph etc. I'll also add a screen to the side for a map and stuff, and in the middle will be vehicle data. I will also try to make the gear selector knob, parking brake lever, lights knob, indicator stalk and push buttons for the doors move when theyre needed.

Could you stop asking the same thing over and over again? Gets a bit repetitive.

 

Technically a Europe model could be RHD, as the UK and Gibraltar are part of Europe.
