Oh wow! Is this based off of the 1970s WHITE Road Boss? They look so similar in terms of design. But I totally love how there is a new truck! With the European MAN TGS being made, this American styled truck is totally awesome! This reminds of those RoR days with Kenworth W900s, Peterbilt 359s and 379s littering the Forums along with SUVs. BeamNG seemed stale for me with the endless sedans and sports cars. I was really looking forward to seeing high quality trucks that I used to abuse in Rigs of Roll but got disappointed with little to no trucks. I've driven the Twin stick Gavril T Series to death and this is just such a breath of good air for me. I hope you the best in making this!
After seeing PresidentJukeBox's post, this thread will be renamed the "Wentward Semi Pack". The cabover will still be the 2170, but another truck will be available. This will be what the 2170 would've been originally and will dubbed the Roadstar (Thanks RecklessRodeo).
Aw, thank you mate for picking my name. And also, thank you for making this into a pack. Now the truck section of the world of Beamng now has a bit more diversity.
Oh hell yea a pack! I hope this becomes as big as MRCrash's MAN TGS. American trucks always stuck to me as more badass and awesome than the cabover European trucks. I'll be keeping an eye out for this now and will be following its development as this is just so cool to see another truck, how long I've been waiting for someone to make a new truck rather than mods in improving the Gavril T-Series.(But seriously though, the T-Series needs to be retired) What types of set ups are you planning on doing?(IE Logging, Heavy transport, and Long haul) Fun fact about the WHITE Road Boss, just like the Mack R and Mack Superliner it became an Australian Road Train which is for me the most badass thing that a truck could get. 1970's WHITE Road Boss Prime Mover. 1980's WHITE Road Boss Prime Mover.
Alright. Once I can get the models in-game, I'll probably shoot you the DAE file via private messages.
All we need now is someone to make Mods of all the kinds of trailers available in the US market and we a golden. AR's mod is good but it lacks proper trailers for the heavy loads he made.
Something I would recommend is some show truck parts (big chrome bumpers, visors, stacks etc) for the weirdos (such as myself) who like show trucks.
Will you make the custom pipes from the T-Series compatible to your trucks? Would be pretty cool to see on your trucks.
