i am really excited for this mod there are not enough trucks in beamng i was wondering if you could do like a peterbilt 359 or kenworth W900 and is this mod going to have round lights. keep up the awesome work

A bit out of topic but I hope this Mod gets lots of attention in the forums. The last time I tried suggesting a truck mod in the Ideas and Suggestions forums, I got bashed and people told me a truck is not needed in the game and the Peterbilt 359 I was suggesting was already in game even though the Gavril T Series is based out of an Interntional. So many people got angry at me for suggesting a truck. But in the 500+ pages it was Sedans, Minivans and Sports Cars and yet they tell me a Semi Truck is already in game and is not needed. Seeing this Mod really gives me hope. That I'm not the only truck guy in this Forums full of Elitist car people saying trucks look the same and it would be a hassle to create one.
They fill the exact same slot, we don't need two of the exact same truck because they look and drive slightly different. You were bashed because you had a bad attitude towards other members when they criticized you.
Trucks are very specialized vehicles, the owner/operator has certain specifications it has to meet to operate in there work space efficiently. Saying trucks look and drive slightly differently is very wrong and ignorant. They are different in there own ways.(Here I go again explaining that trucks are more diverse than you think). Your arguement could literally be used on everyday cars that a large majority of the population uses. Same stock cars with a few tweaking theirs but still fall short on looking unique. Trucks on the other had doesn't have the luxury of looking fancy since they are meant to work for the rest of there lives. A truck guy would immediately see the differences between the in game Gavril T Series and the Peterbilt 359 I recommended. Again, this is a personal preference. If you don't like it, ignore it. How can you critize someone on saying there personal preference? Do I tell you, you have a bad taste in cars since they all look and function the same and already have a slot in game and have been done countless times already? No. No, I don't. Trucks are a personal preference and it was for recommending vehicles. In a WIP Mod with a large variety of trucks.
Oh my god who the hell cares. They both are in the same size class, both make around the same power, look nearly identical, there's absolutely no reason for a modmaker to waste their time making an exact clone of the T-65/T-75 solely because some road-freighter nerds want muh grille difference.
Alright, this mod is cancelled. I haven't been really motivated to work on it. I think I would've got back to it today, but the final nail in the coffin presented itself. My middle mouse button won't work, not allowing me to rotate. Without being able to rotate, I can't really work on it.
Darn, that's sad. I was actually looking forward to seeing how this mod would turn out. Do you still have the files incase if you want to hand them over to someone else so they can continue developing it?
Yeah, still have the .blend files. I'll keep them in case someone else wants me to hand off the baton to them. --- Post updated --- Nevermind, the mod's back on. I can just use some little thing in the top-right corner to rotate the view.
