We have the thread about most common cars in your area, so I thought it would be interesting to have thread about most common trucks, buses, vans and other commercial vehicles in your area. So, let's start. In Kragujevac, Serbia most common commercial vehicles are: Mercedes-Benz Atego Mk1 Zastava Turbo Zeta Fiat Ducato Renault Premium Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Mk1 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Mk2 Zastava New Turbo Rival FAP trucks (FAP = Fabrika Automobila Priboj, Priboj Car Factory) Renault Kangoo Ikarbus IK-206 Ikarbus IK-103 Mercedes-Benz Citaro MAZ 103 MAZ 203
So, wait, are IVECOs sold as Zastavas in Serbia? I thought you only got the rehashed Fiat Punto 188...
No, Iveco Zeta and 1st and 2nd gen Daily was manufactured in Serbia as Zastavas. That was actually Iveco licence established in early 1980s.
Yeah I know, I never knew IVECO was part of the licensing process. It doesn't really surprise me though, FGA licensed their IVECO vehicles to pretty much every manufacturer that asked for them...
I don't really care for lorries, but the Mercedes Sprinter in both generations seems to be the most popular in Puławy, Poland.
Being from an ex-communist country (Slovakia) I find it weird that we never got the Yugo (Zastava Koral) itself, only the previous 1100 which was based on the Fiat 128. OT: Most commercial vehicles in my area are Pick-ups (Ranger, D-Max, L200, Navara). For buses we have these: Karosa C-Series Iveco Crossway SOR C-Series (by far the most popular) Then there's an old LIAZ garbage truck: And businesses run the holy-trinity: Citroen Jumper/Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer
Econolines are the most common commercial vehicles by far, too bad they are discontinued now because other options around here aren't great. Late '90's early 2000's Ford pickups are fairly popular here too.
Besides the bus they all park in the MIDDLE OF THE STREET AT RUSH HOUR! This is what my small downtown area is basically and theirs around 1-5 of these delivery trucks at once with no loading zone.
Vans: Ford Transit Connect/Courier Ford Transit Custom Ford Transit Mercedes Sprinter Scania Lorries Volvo Lorries Bus: Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Stagecoach
My area, when you look around you, you just see: Left - Mark Three to Six Transit Right - Mark Three to Six Transit Forwards - Mark Three to Six Transit Backwards - Mark Three to Six Transit
Ford Ranger. In my countrt, that's the only pickup with 4WD, good hauling capacity and also being resonably priced (Most pickups in my country have the price tag of a brand new C Class or a good used S Class)
