I found that my fastest times were achieved with the hirochi sunburst hill climb with sequential gearbox. But my fastest time so far has been 1.57.175. What has been your best times, (in-game cars only)? I havent tried doing more than one lap at a time, and I havent got similar times with any other car. Lets see what the record for the track has been :D

What is default West Coast track?

Usually I use only free play mode and when I spawn to track all routes are open to be used.

With gamepad and Pessima I did 1:47.218, problem being that it loses body parts in the process. This hotlapping app bugs out really bad if you try to zero laptimes and then it starts to get those under 1 second laptimes etc.

I'll have to try out faster cars later and learn the track more, but I recorded a 1:59.648 in the Moonhawk Track car on the update release date. Mostly used vague track knowledge from watching that preview video of the circuit in the Clean Driving thread so it wasn't super optimized. Click link for video timestamp.

Shadowplay broke and I didn't feel like restarting to fix it for recording, but captured a replay of a clean running lap (two wheels inside track boundary lines the entire lap) time of 1'38.819 in the Sunburst Hill Climb. I attached the .rpl file in a zip folder if you want to extract it and watch it in the replay app. Based on missed apexes, some squirreliness scrubbing off some speed and a few iffy racing lines, I'd be comfortable saying at least a 1'36.xxx would be possible in this car without tuning.
