What do "superlocks" do (deadlocking)?

    From what I understand it disengage the inside door handle (like childlock). But lifting up the locking tab will just unlock the door and so the outside handle will work and then access is gained.
    Or does deadlocking prevent the tab being used. That would make sense :p (I did find this out on a saab forum and well saabs don't have the best electrics)

    The tab retracts all the way into the socket so can't be opened
