What happened to the BX engine sounds?

At first i thought it was a bug, so i just stopped using the bx in hopes that it would get fixed. But after the last update I'm no longer sure about it.

With the BX remaster we got some fantastic high quality engine sounds for the 2l and 2.5l engines. I really enjoyed it, and it felt more high quality than many other racing games with way higher budgets. Granted, as a silvia s14 owner, it sounded nothing like the SR20 and more like a honda engine. But still, 4 cylinder engine and the Diana is not a Silvia at the end of the day so it works.

Since the sunburst update these sounds were replaced with what sounds like a generic engine noise. Nothing helps except removing the exhaust.

This seems like a huge downgrade to me. Any chance this gets fixed or is it supposed to be a feature?

 

It's not just the BX, the SBR4 also had its box engine updated to make it sound like a Porshe, honestly I was pretty used to the sounds of these two cars

 

I will check this later! What is weird about the bx is that it got remastered just 4 or 5 months ago. I doubt they went through the effort of creating one of the best sounding 4 cylinder engines in gaming/simming just to scrap it and replace it with something i would expect from a mod. There must be a mistake.
