I'm not really sure, but I doubt it. The devs should release a tool that converts .cdae back to .dae.
A few mods have been released using .cdae, and people have lost track of their 3d models (don't ask me), and reasons(?). I think @Dummiesman would do a better job explaining.
Edit: I said wrong things earlier. Cdae, as said by somebody above, stands for Cache DAE. I recall it's meant to help speeding up the loading of DAE files. If you load a DAE for the first time, a Cdae gets generated. AFAIK, Cdae > DAE is not a thing, but I may be wrong.
