What map is in the background of this well known image?

I used to see this image so many times when looking online for anything related to BeamNG.drive. But one question is what map is in the background of the image? The main issue with this image is that most of them are blurry. But some of them on the internet are higher quality. There are also different variations of this image too, not where the angles from the image are taken, but where the text for BeamNG.drive is. And also, what mod is this for the Covet in this image? It has a custom paintjob on it and I've been wondering what mod this could be. If anyone can figure out what map this is. Then thanks!

Prob early version of east coast or dry rock island

 

I don't think so, Dry Rock Island has lots of trees and different roads from the picture, East Coast USA has a different terrain palette from the map that is shown.

not east coast as image was made in august 2013. and not dry rock because it's too big to be it

so far i've found nothing on these forums.. maybe they're in another site or it was a private map

 

Maybe the map was made by the person who made the Covet mod. They never said anything about the map, so maybe it was private.

 

it's one of the industrial site race tracks.

 

It's an image from early versions of BeamNG. The Covet skin is probably a mod or have been designed by BeamNG devs only for this image. The background map is Industrial, ofc it is the first version of it so you won't find the same location in 0.38.

back in those days there was no support for skins on vehicles, so a livery like that would have been a texture replacement mod. dannit i feel old
