I used AAA driving school (Would not recommend honestly) and I used a 2009 Ford Focus for my road test. The guy I did half my road lessons with did a hour and a half warm up with me before my test so I was able to do it perfectly my first time.

A first-generation Chevrolet S10, but the throttle was too touchy and I ended up failing. I later retook the test in a fifth-gen Dodge Grand Caravan and ended up acing the parallel parking, in spite of it being a much larger vehicle.

a 1995 Buick lesabre, my dad's. glad I didn't have to drive it after that, was the floatiest, most 'merican car I ever had to drive, I floored it once and the slushbox would have had enough time to verbally ask me "are you sure?" before it finally downshifted

Pulled up, threw it into reverse, and whipped it into the parking spot. IIRC, it took me less than a minute from start to finish - and with 4" from curb on rear and 7" on front.

I now drive and park cars for a living

I took my test in a 2006 Subaru Forester but didn't have to parallel park. I just had to back up 50 feet straight, 3 point turn and which way do you turn your wheels down hill with a curb when parked. That's it. Passed without error.

I ended up using two cars for my road test... the first failed attempt was in a Honda Civic, I think it was a 2010 model. I had serious tunnel vision. The second attempt was in a Nissan Sentra of similar model year (I successfully parallel parked both cars in both tests). Both cars were rented because there was a stupid rule that required the road test car to have the emergency brake located in the middle of the car aka the "hand brake", and none of our cars at the time even had that type of brake. Both compacts felt very different in comparison to the Oldsmobile Eighty-eight I was accustomed to and learned to drive in.

After the first fail, I had to practice and memorize the route and what actions to perform at what times. The unofficial practice runs was done in a 1972 Olds Cutlass.

I am surprised what has been used in the driving tests, I may be doing it in a 05 ford ranger with a extended cab so it is like 212 inches Hyper 212 evo anyone XD

I think I will do fine then

A 200BX. Those things are hard to park on the East Coast.

I did my entire test with a '98 GMC Safari. Parallel parking part of the test was a joke, only needed to park behind a car. Passed on my first attempt.

This thing for my in-car lessons. I don't know when my actual road test is supposed to happen.

I used a 95 F150 for my test... damn thing practically wasn't allowed to be on the road never mind in the hands of a 16 year old kid. Was a 5 speed that didn't care what was in its way and it had no passenger side mirror because it fell off. It was the end of the day when I took my test and I swear the only reason the guy let me drive that thing was just because he wanted to go home... but I passed!

Since i am 14 years old at the time and i was being taught by my uncle who has a massive land containing lots of rusty old cars to drive, i used a beated and rusted Datsun 280ZX, i ended up making a big mess at the place by ramming the Datsun into a nearby junk car and destroying a rusted Jaguar XJ6, i failed completely

I used a diesel Peugeot 208. It isn't awful to do parallel parking, but there are a lot of blind spots.
