    Hello!

I am trying to peice together the history of the official car companies of beamng (I will make a thread once I think I know it) this will include cars that will probably never be actually in game, and rigs of rods cars. Thats where my problem comes in, i dont know any of the rigs of rods official vehicles (or gabester vehicles if youd like to call them that). Can someone please help?

I don't think that it was that way, I think that none of the official cars were made by Gabester, he was a modder who made very high quality car mods, but official vehicles were very simple boxed designs, truck, rescue truck, dakar truck and bus or two different buses, then there was a crane truck, all were just flat sided very simple models.
Some boxes, trailer or two and plane were also there, maybe a boat, but it was not very many vehicles.

That was before the time when mods were imported as part of official content.

Well, that is how at least I remember it being, but it was really long time ago and my memory is not the best.

Maybe there is some kind of wiki page for ror which you could spy something?

    You had the:
    - Gavril G2 (http://archives.rigsofrods.net/old-forum/forums/117-Light-Vehicles/71461/page-0001.html), a V6 midsize sports coupe; maybe a Barstow descendant that went the non-retro route?

    - Gavril Zeta (https://rigofrods.wikia.com/wiki/Gavril_zeta) - a compact/midsize SUV,

    - Gavril Omega (http://archives.rigsofrods.net/old-forum/forums/117-Light-Vehicles/69706/page-0001.html) - a V6/V10/V12 fullsize SUV sedan,

    - Gavril MV4 (http://archives.rigsofrods.net/old-forum/forums/117-Light-Vehicles/84411/page-0001.html) - a V6 exec sedan, maybe something like a Ford Falcon/Holden Commodore,

    - Gavril GV3/5 (https://archives.rigsofrods.net/old-forum/forums/106-General-Chat/102588/page-0001.html) - a smaller liftback version of the above,

    - 1972 Gavril Bandit (https://www.beamng.com/resources/1972-gavril-bandit.199/) - the Charger to the Barstow's Challenger,

    - Burnside (https://rigofrods.wikia.com/wiki/Burnside) - a 70s fullsize midrange sedan.

Seems that Gavril replaced V8s with turbo V6 for cars and V10s for trucks.

I agree with fufsgen, all official ROR vehicles were basic boxes of nodes and beams with "submesh" skins (think about an old wooden biplane, the wood being the beams, the submesh is the fabric).
I believe I was one of the first ones to use the "props" section as complete body meshes. thus eliminating the skins on the beams.
I used to make quite a few semi trucks for ROR as moderate quality mods made in sketchup then moved on to blender (I was 14-18 years old at the time).

    Those were the good days...
I dont think many of my mods survived the forum swap outs though.
Most of them were forum attachments, and my computer crashes etc, made me lose a lot of them.
I still have some of the .skp models though. I may try putting them in BeamNG someday.

You might try looking on the ROR archives and search Wheelson or Pacific...
