This is a thread for posting what you do lots in BeamNG, preferably in one map. I guess I should start off. I go on ETK Driver Experience Centre and get a car that a idiotic teenager might like-usually a 200BX. Then I fit a massive body kit and, after using node grabber to roll it over (Tog Gear reference) and do some bad drifting and an obstacle course. I then park on a high hill, and forget to put the parking brake on. This in turn makes gravity rocket the mistreated car into a tree at 60kmh.
Just plainly driving without crashing. I don't really crash on purpose often. I just drive, test new vehicle configs, test mods, try to improve my driving, take attempts at drifting, tune vehicles and test them and so on. I might soon be testing my own skins and configs as soon as I start making them. I want to record a video of me driving with the F16 in the clean driving and racing thread but i'm not sure if i wan't to bump it. I really liked that thread.
Driving in Mammoth Valley with my RWD ETK V8 30 Jahre without crashing and maybe you question me where is my Hirochi Sunburst WRS HTI and the answer is store in the garage due the fact the suspension is not in rally setup so I leave it in the garage.
I used to drive "normally" when I could actually control the throttle but now since they broke I'm limited to 100% or 0% throttle.
Try to add rivers to random maps and fail terribly at it. Also spawn 5-7 ai cars to drive around with and try to follow them on a motorcycle without tipping over.
I try to save FPS. Mostly. And when I have finally stable FPS I go back to Windows for putting music, and the game say nop and it's going back to 20fps.
go fast, like... really fast... then hit the wall, i love that moement when the car first impacts the wall, and the front end crumples like a tin ca- [INSTABILITY DETECTED, PAUSING PHYSICS AND RESETTING VEHICLES]
I got bored of crashing vehicles, so I just drive them like you would in real life. Do some offroading, etc... Oh but of course you always have the times when you accidentally crashed... Maybe I'm not a good driver in this game... or maybe it's because I don't follow speed limits...
Alright, I will. Not sure when I'll do it though. OT: to add to the thread i can also mention that I found out that there is a mode that shows you how much stress the beams of the cars have when you drive it. Seems to be good for seeing how the weight shifts. I try to learn to control every car. I use every car from time to time. I'm not sure why but I seem to use the Barstow more than the Moonhawk. Probably because the Barstow is higher up in the vehicle list and that I'm a lazy twat.
Open up ECU winter (mod), add some snow particles in the map editor, turn them up to a mild blizzard, turn the fog ~80% up, change the time to night, get in my black, manual, pre-facelift ETK I-series 3000ix, set the transmission to manual, and just drive.
