Why are trees just hollow on most maps now? This kinda ruined alot of rally and 4x4 maps for me. Cant seem to find any info
Just going to mention that this shouldn't be here, but in 'Troubleshooting' and stuff. Though I don't really understand what you mean. Exactly how did you find out that the trees are hollow? Also how does that affect your gameplay?
Someone already posted there with zero response. So really who cares where its posted would just be nice to get some help and issues fixed rather than people complaining where its posted all the time. Trees on mod maps are like street signs you can drive right through them, when your rally racing in to woods and go off track you'd normally hit them and destroy your car but not anymore.
You mean the trees have no collision? I didnt notice this so far. on which maps for example? maybe post a screenshot so people know what the issue is exactly
It's not a bug, but a choice of the creator's. Most times it's done to reduce file size and to improve performance. You are just not right about that though. There are rules... Also people won't be "complaining" if you followed the rules. (I will not continue to speak of this matter anymore)
You can open the editor with F11 and learn how to enable collisions on objects. There are also times when some kind of bug disables forest collisions. There is a rally island mod map that has not collision on 80% of the trees every other time I launch the game.
