What's up with my driveshaft?

hey, I've been doing a series of Rally driving challenges on various maps and I can't help noticing on my favourite car - and unmodified ETK I-series Rally - that when I'm going on bumpy terrain (in any map) and I press the handbrake, first time all my tires explode and second time my driveshaft snaps and my whole car sometimes explodes. I know this is a small problem, but I drive very handbreak heavy, and this problem is really bugging me. I'll post a video soon, but here's a picture of a car after the accident.

Its because the edge of the containers are catching the nodes of the jbeam or something along those lines

What @dirtmania43 said. You're forcing a soft, malleable material to be dragged across a sharp edge. The shipping crates have enough space between them to allow the tire to sink into this space; all is well if the tires are rolling over it, but pulling the handbrake catches the tires on the edge.

Not really a bug with the game nor the car, it's just a design flaw with the map in question.

As I said, it happens across all maps, including ECUSA

While it may not be a "bug with the game" it is certainly a shortcoming with the game. I'm sure that it's something that the devs would like to improve.

The issue, AFAIK, is nodes teleporting inside (moving into) meshes. This is a tricky problem and it's been brought up before. With tires it happens to be more common and obvious than other nodes. Keeping nodes from passing onto the wrong side of meshes / coltris is the subject of ongoing research from the dev team.

    Where in other maps?

Oh it's undoubtedly a shortcoming, it's just not a glitch or unintended behaviour. It's been like this since 0.3.

It's not a great problem, just a little annoying thing. It doesn't really matter anyway.
There is a spot on one of the dirt tracks near the city in ECUSA
