Yeah I know what hes saying, dont worry man, I just figure if we have a cool down timer on the new members say 60 seconds to about 5 minutes to prevent thread spam like that, I mean when you hit say 100 posts that limit is removed to prevent it in the future, it would stop the spammers from targeting this forum that if they flood the forum multiple times they have to say go through a verification process, where is Captcha 3 when you need it!

From Greater Toronto Area to Australia. It’s kinda silly that when that spambot spams, it directs them to a specific region.

Yeah its amusing but with things as they are with the spambots, best to increase the delay per threat creation for new members from 1 thread per minute to something like 1 thread per 5 minutes, so you can nuke the flood early making the effect less pronounced on the forum, I have done that before on another forum and it killed the flood of messages but we had it set on that forum 1 thread per 15 seconds and I tweaked it to 1 thread per 5 minutes, it killed the spam and it allowed me to remove 30 spam accounts....

I am backing for a 5 minute cooldown between thread creations for new accounts, so it can say:

"Seems your new here Please note it will take 300 seconds between thread creation and to prove your not a bot heres a CAPTCHA test"

They were there last night, and the night before. So they're still a thing.
