I would just like to try my luck with making some small car parts. Something like making bumpers/fascias or bodystyles for cars. I understand that it requires Blender, JBeam, knowledge, and patience.
Are there any tutorials for visually editing stuff like bumpers?

Don't think there's a guide for that specific thing, so you're pretty much on your own with learning how to edit meshes... unless someone wants to invest time into helping you with some problems you might encounter :p

I want to make custom lights for various cars based on the original shapes. Is there a way I could import (example) the SBR4's taillights alone and just edit the shapes? However, I would need help with the glowmaps, overall JBeam, and making them a custom option.

i guess you could import the .dae file for the sbr, then isolate the lights and make the other parts invisible. That's what I did because I tried dabbling with the K Series' bumper, and just looked around.

You could try this, it has the same process as all other mods.

You can change the slottype(so it comes under the bumper options) and the name for that

So I have an unmodified jbeam for the fenders of ETK K Series. When I test it out ingame, the new fenders seem to replace the old ones. What do I need to change so that it becomes optional, not replacing the old ones? Sorry for so many questions!

change the first thing between " " to something unique to avoid overwriting it and change the name into something unique so you can find it

I see. I found a solution a few hours back by myself, it was essentially this. One thing though, screenshot_2019-09-25_18-24-03.png I'm seeing a lot of triangles/polygons near where I edited. How do Fix this and smoothen it?

select the fender in object mode, then on the left menu click on the "smooth" button under shading
