Who else has under 16 GB of RAM?

Who else plays BeamNG with under 16 GB of RAM? I play on a laptop with 15.6 GB of RAM. It is terrible. With AI, I sometimes get as low as 6 FPS when playing, and the laptop gets hot to the touch often. I actually have played other games on it with no problem, such as the Forza Horizon series.

 

You're misunderstanding that, you have 16gb it's just that only 15.6gb is usable (the 400mb you're "missing" is negligible anyway) which is because your laptop is equipped with integrated graphics, so your laptop is reserving a bit of your RAM as a substitute for VRAM, which the iGPU doesn't have

 

Uhh ME. I have like 8 gigs and it runs beam with like 300 mods with average 115fps

I play 8gb ram but only 7.8 is usable. I get 40-50 fps on Utah with low settings except lighting quality with it on lowest and no anisotropic filtering. I play on 1600 x 900 and with shadows enabled. Wish I had a better pc for £700.

 

Odd. I have 15.6 useable RAM, and my PC is only $700

 

Then again, it is a light office pc and it is an All in One so it's meant to fool silly people getting ripped off by this.

7.4 GB of ram, the other 0.6 went to the iGPU
handles 60 ish mods nicely

 

how!? mine cant handle 20 mods on lowest settings

 

what cpu do you have, i got a r3 4300u, its nice, but its bottlenecked by the igpu

 

idk tbh. i got an old broken laptop, but im going to get a new laptop with 32GB ram that should help

 

i have 16gb ram 3200mhz ddr4 2x8gb but with my gpu its only 12gbs i am about to upgrade to 32gb corsair ddr4 3200mhz 4x8gbs white with rgb's i have black pc kb and headset but i bought white mouse, glorious model O and i am about to switch to more white to make a cool mix
