Why can't I thanks anymore?

Title says it all. I've seemed to run out of thanks option or something? And I don't even use it that often... Is there any fix or something to this?

 

Why is it so damn hard to understand that if you thank too much, it'll disable it for a day or so?
We get thread after thread after thread complaining about this, from people that have been here long enough that they should know how it works.
If you just searched, you'd come across many threads about this same exact topic and you'd have your answer.

 

Jesus Christ I searched and didn't find anything and you could've just told me! I was simply asking a question I can't beleve that that can make you so upset.

 

I'm sorry, I just don't understand how a normal forum goer could miss the numerous threads and discussions about this.
