SOLVED why can't i upload a GIF as my profile picture?

    when i try to upload a GIF, it automatically converts the first frame into JPG
    all the GIF's ive tried actually work, but they still get converted into a JPG

    ive even tried resizing my image to 200x200 and my gifs still won't work

    actually i think ive solved it, all i need to do is resize my GIFs to 150x150 to work
