BeamNG is a game that shows how stancing doesn't work, the devs even poke fun at it with the "Ibishu Pessima Stanced"' in it's description. But BeamNG still has a sizable stancing community, with a bunch of presets and mods. Does anyone know why this is?
Because the game has a level of freedom close to that of real life. People do it for the same reason they do it in real life, because they like the way it looks.
Probably because people can re-create that cringey feeling of watching a stanced car have a territorial dispute with a speedbump.
