Why is some things take so long to download of the Repo? (SOLVED)

I been wondering, why in the world that it takes so long to download somethings of the Repo? If you need to know my internet is 117 MB Per Second download and 15 MB Per Second upload.

 

Depends on where you are, mod size, etc.

 

The size of the mod is about 20 MBs I am in Ohio and some addons that are alot bigger or smaller install faster.

 

Huh, I really don't know. Tech isn't my department but I'm pretty sure someone else will tell you.

 

I thought it would be like this because of the person that upload the mod is in the different area but i soon realise that it is probably be from a central server and which makes my first thought invalid.

 

I guess it depends on the ping you have to the server I know its based in Europe and my DL speeds are ehh pretty average at 80 down and some mods do take a bit to download for me, and I am pretty average on network speed here in the UK

 

I guess so, I tested my ping its around 20 ping. and then i got the IP for this site and its around 70. I guess this solved my problem, thanks!

 

No problem at all, I donno what my ping is to the server in Europe, but as far as I care it is sufficient not to cause me worry
