I know I am probably missing something incredibly easy and stupid. I have spent hours following some youtube vids to add new parts to the covet.
    Please help this dummy.

I have all my wide body kit parts modeled
So i have a Hood,Fenders,Bumpers and wing modeled already in 3dsmax from the original DAE file. I have exported them as DAE files and copied the JBEAM files from the original covet and edited the lines to match the names of the new widebody files.

They show in the repository in game, but cant seem to get them to show a new entrant. I have followed a youtube tutorial about 20 times.
I know I am missing something obviously easy and stupid.
    So any little help?
See pictures of my setup and folder locations.

Check the console, it doesn't seem to be anything obvious

Ok it's weird, it shows nothing as if your part didn't exist, no idea what is wrong

Ok, No idea what I did different but got my models ingame. The next problem im facing is for some reason the right fender will not show even though the code is exactly the same as the L which works fine?
and having trouble with the sideskirt also. any help with that? ignore...some..parts of this picture :D
    any ideas?

Also, I am using 3dsmax so how should I export the hood and bumper as it seems to have the texture on them but im using the same material for the other parts of the car I made and they seem fine?

You definitely messed up some UV maps, you will need to redo the whole thing. I advise using Blender instead, nobody here will help you with 3dsmax I'm afraid, hardly anyone uses it.

I got some fenders and sideskirt working now. at least.
Just need to figure out the UV issue, even though I done the same with all other parts.

Not sure anybody cares for such a ricer wide body kit but it sure was fun to make and edit.
