I am going to be getting a GT 1030 graphics card to replace the Intel HD Graphics in my desktop. I am just wondering ahead of time what frame rates I will be getting. Does anyone else have the GT 1030 who could advise me? Thanks.

Here are the rest of it's specs:

    HP Elite 8200 SFF
Intel Core i5-2400, Quad Core, 3.1 Ghz, Turbo up to 3.4 Ghz
    8GB DDR3 Memory
    Windows 10 Pro
    Gigabyte GT 1030 LP 2GB GDDR5
    1TB HDD

I got 5-15 fps using lowest settings on the Intel Graphics, so I am hoping that this graphics card will solve my problems.

It won't, the GT1030 is an awful waste of money, it's a media accelerator not a gaming card. Like yeah you'll reach 60fps on low, but you won't be running high settings.

Bit of a hint. Any Nvidia card with GT as it's prefix is not a gaming card. You want GTX and above only

I only need a card that will do 60fps on low. That is still a massive upgrade over the Intel HD graphics, considering that on lowest settings(including simplified collision physics) I got 15fps on grid map, while other maps were not usable. I would have probably gotten a used GTX but I require a low wattage, low profile card since I’m using a 240w power supply and low profile case. Either way, I can’t turn back now because I snagged a new GT 1030 for $80 despite crypto-mining shooting prices through the roof. Lastly, I am just trying to see what increases I will be getting compared to my Intel graphics, in which everything is an upgrade. The GPU is still the bottleneck, but at least it is dedicated

Crypto shouldn't affect GT1030 prices. You can't mine much with only 2GB VRAM.

I'd think the low clock speed would be more of a contributing factor

A Zotac GTX 1050 it is very power efficient and is a reasonable price. Look on Amazon for it. To me a 1030 is a waste of moola. Just go with a 1050 and upgrade your PSU if need be. If I were you, I would not get the 1030.
