So I've watched several videos on the Williams hybrid the team developed for F1 and it got me thinking, what if we had something similar in Beam?
The system essentially transfers the kinetic energy from the wheels to electromagnetic energy which spins a large, drum-shaped flywheel in a different part of the car. When wanted, a CVT transfers torque back into the wheels.
The SBR4 is already quite an engineering marvel of a car, with rear-mounted boxer engines, torque-vectoring differentials and active aero, as well as electric variants, and Hirochi also having proficiency in DCT's and all-wheel-drive, I think a system similar to this could be yet another quirk and/or feature of the SBR4.
