Hi everyone! I've been working on an idea/project that I think many in the BeamNG community have been waiting for. What is Allmation? Allmation is a standalone program inspired by Automation, but with a bigger vision: Create any vehicle – not just the limited 50 bodies in Automation. Want to build a bus, truck, or crazy custom car? You can. Detailed engines – choose V5, I6, V12, turbo/diesel/petrol, bore, stroke, friction, oil simulation (optional). Custom chassis & suspension – complete freedom with shocks, brakes, transmission, and weight balance. Full customization – change color, swap engines, tweak details any time. Export directly to BeamNG as .jbeam with working meshes. Planned: Map integration (drive your creations on real-world style maps). Why Allmation? Automation + BeamNG is incredible, but: It's expensive (300–400 NOK / $30+) Limited bodies (mainly cars, no buses/trucks) You can't just "make anything" Allmation aims to fix this: complete freedom, lower price (~50–100 NOK / $5–10), and unlimited creativity. Example Imagine importing blueprints of a Volvo 9700 bus, generating a body, adding your own I6 diesel engine, custom suspension, and then driving it in BeamNG. That's the dream. ⏳ Timeline Prototype (1–2 months): basic engine + chassis editor, simple BeamNG export. Early version (6 months): more engines, chassis tuning, and color editor. Full version (1–2 years): realistic 3D body builder, advanced physics, complete export system. What I need Feedback from the BeamNG community. Interest: Would you use this? What features are most important to you? Possibly testers and collaborators, once the prototype is ready. ⚡ Allmation = “Automation, but unlimited.” Build anything. Export anywhere. Drive in BeamNG.
i want to stay hopeful but this is an insanely large task to do but if somehow this gets done this could be a helpful tool! and i have a question is the generating a body gonna use ai or something like it?
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I know this is a big task – that's why I'm starting step by step with a prototype (engine editor → chassis → export → body editor). For the body generation: - The first versions will **not use AI**. It will be more like importing a reference image/blueprint and then shaping the body manually in the editor. - Later on, I want to experiment with **AI-assisted generation** (so you could import photos, and the editor helps create a rough 3D mesh). So short answer: manual/custom editor first, AI tools maybe later --- Post updated --- I agree, this is a very complex task – Automation and BeamNG both took years with big teams. That's why I'm not trying to recreate everything at once. My plan is: - Start very small (engine + chassis prototype). - Then gradually add more features (suspension, body editor, customization). - Export to BeamNG in simple forms first, then expand. So yes, it's a big vision – but I'd rather start with something small and see how far it can go, instead of not trying at all.
please stop using AI to talk its really disrespectful still you do not understand the complexity of this task, i do, ive been modding this game since 2021 and its much much more difficult than you think

I understand that this task is much more complex than it first looks, and I respect the experience you have from modding since 2021. I'm just curious and trying to learn more step by step, so I appreciate any insights. If it turns out to be too much for me right now, I'll take a break and maybe come back to it later when I've learned more. But I would make it! eh i don't know about the ai tools part cause i 100 percent would rather choose someone real and support them with how much effort they put into mods than something soulless but that's just my opinion
AI? No, this is a real game, not an AI. But I would make it all. just wait --- Post updated --- I get the doubt. That's why I'm building a small prototype right now. I'll share progress soon. Have a good day. Jesus loves you all anyway
Bro why you trying to bring religion on a bunch of car nerds on a videogame forum??? I am pretty sure thats against guidelines. No disrespect, its just very off topic, and everyone believes in different things.
we're actually at a point where some people are genuinely incapable of communicating without the help of AI
