[WIP] The BeamNG movie

I am currently making a "small" movie about BeamNG. When finished it should be 20 or 30 minutes long. A high ambitious goal I thought , posting some pictures of the progress so far with some fails

My suggestion would be to turn up the graphics, like SSAO, High shadows, High mesh, etc. Films achieve a professional look by going at 30FPS, so you don't have to run the game smoothly. Also throw in some after effects to the final product, like vignetting, lens flare and motion blur.

This is very new and interesting. I hope you keep this up and finish it. What are some major issues you're facing regarding this project? Will there be dialogue?

 

sounds like a bit of fun. if you need some inspiration, look up "Hard Chargers" on youtube. it's in GTA4, but it's well made.

 

I was going to make a short movie as well. Do something along the lines of a police chase. Maybe around 5 mins? Idk, I just need time to do it... Good luck with the movie!

Just film it in slow-mo and speed up the captured footage afterwards. This way you have nice graphics and stable framerates.

 

Well don't use crash sounds then... They sound pretty bad anyways
