Thats a play and charge kit. The play and charge kit only has 5v and ground, it is missing D+ and D- which are required for USB communication and as such DOES NOT ENABLE A WIRELESS CONTROLLER TO WORK WITH WINDOWS
So no, your controller is not plugged in.

You need an actual wired controller or the actual wireless adaptor.

oh, in case you wanted some form of proof. open device manager, it won't list your controller as connected either.

No. Its missing the USB data lines, the controller doesnt have support for them either. You simply cannot connect the wireless controller to a PC with the play and charge kit

Did you plug it in before you launched the game?

Already covered that this controller won't work, that is a wireless controller with a play and charge kit, that kit charges only, it doesn't allow the controller to work with windows
