    Hello everyone!

I've recently started to get into the process of creating custom maps for Beam.NG and I'm fairly confused on the workflow for implementing materials. I understand the process of modeling, uv unwrapping, texture creation, and so on, but I'm struggling to find a place to start when it comes to actually getting those textures to work with the material Beam.NG has in place.

My biggest question is what files are necessary, how do you set up the main.material.json file, how you see materials in the editor, etc?

Any help or pointers to where I could learn this would be much appreciated :) Right now my map looks like a bunch of neon orange materials and grids...

    Thanks!!

Bump. I'm still beating my head against a wall trying to figure out the quirks of the material system and I've no idea where to start...
