Unsolved World editor decal roads with Road Archtect

    Hello

    I've been trying to make a map (level) in the world editor using road architect but every time I reload the game and open the map the roads I placed in the last session look like this:

    It's either the edge blend decal or tire marks, sometimes both but always something (I'm not using road lines to reduce clutter).
    It always happens at the ends of the last edited roads.
    Am I missing something?
    I am fairly new to beamng and haven't made any mods for it before so it might be something basic.

    When selected (in decal road tool) it looks like this:

    I'm working in the BeamNG.drive\0.33\levels\"MapName" folder. I've also tried packing the map into the mods folder between editing sessions but no change.
    Do I need to save the Road Arcitect session? I haven't tried that specifically as I thought it is for saving editing sessions which also doesn't seem to be working.

    EDIT:
    It seems it's connecting the start and end of the road section:

    also.. saving Road Architect sesseion didn't help except it allows to save the editable session (I think it's meant to save the sessions in EDIT mode, not render mode.)
