    Hey all,

So I have an older system i7 870 maxed out at 16GB with a Radeon HD6870 1GB GPU. Really I need to replace this system, but just don't want to make a 2K investment quite yet. Currently I can play Drive, but must use low resolution settings and even then some maps/locations which have allot of detail are unusable. I cannot justify putting anymore than about $150 into this current box, so would a Radeon RX 550 4GB give me much more bang than the current card?

For whatever reason I am unable to edit this post. just wanted to add that I also run three monitors on this system.

Get a used 970 as a gamble, or a new RX 580 on sale as a safer option. There are some artifacting issues with AMD cards, so just do your research before you buy.

Ended up getting a GTX 1050 Ti on sale for $150. Works like a new computer, thanks for the tip against AMD.
