Would a thrustmaster tx destroy my desk

I had a g27 someone i know broke it so wanna get a new wheel. I know a thrust master tx is way more powerful thanbmy g27 was. If i buy the desk clamp and mount it straight to my desk will it destroy it? My desk is just a small generic black particle board desk.

 

This will depend upon how much FFB you set on the Wheel, but not knowing the condition of your Desk it would be only accessed properly by you.

You could turn down the Force Feedback on the Thrustmaster just in case...or get another plank of timber and put it on top of your Desk, but make sure the extra plank thickness plus your Desk will fit inside the Clamp.
