Rule #1 - Company =/= brand. For example, if you have a Honda, you can't buy any Acura, if you have a Ford, you can't buy any Mercury, Lincoln, Ford Motor Co.-era Volvo, Jag, Aston, etc. Rule #2 - Your budget is what you paid for your current car(s). I don't have a car yet, but I'm looking into buying a Mercedes W124, so I'd likely buy a slightly worn BMW E39, E34, E46 or E36.
My current car is a 2014 Honda Civic EX. I paid $22,000 in a single payment (yes I saved up that much) for it in 2014. I would probably get a used Mazda MX-5 as I feel I am ready for a sports car at this point, and I like lightweight small cars for their handling and braking.
Shitty Accent owner here, fml. I would proobably buy bimmer because they are dirt cheap and easy to work on. Looking for an e34. Or a russian shitbox with m50b20 or m52 cramped in . I would like to get all you guys opinion regarding vaz-bimmer project. Give your advice please.
If I had to ditch my BMW at this point, there’s a coupe possibilities: 1. 1969 FORD Ranchero, Fairlane, or Torino- I love the way these look, and they have some power-adders that work well, along with good parts availibility. Essentially an IRL Barstow. 2. 1964 Dynamic 88, F-85, or 98- Looks great, and comes, in Dynamic form, with 420lb/ft. ‘Nuff said. Safety would be a concern, though, since it’s pre-‘68. This car makes me excited for the Bluebuck. 3. 2004 Pontiac GTO- Sound, speed, reliability, desirability, rarity- this thing has it all. Seriously good for the price, even if I’m being generous with how much I have in my current car. 4. 1997 S600- V12 luxury at its peak, all for a decent value. Reliability would be a major concern. Tl;dr: I hate gas mileage.
I've currently got a 2002 Subaru Outback, I'd probably get a first generation Mazda3, preferably the hatchback version.
2015 accent. Worth quite some money. --- Post updated --- Well it could at least get me a vaz and an engine from bimmer for a project car.
I currently have 2 Buicks, a 1999 Regal and a 1989 Reatta. I want to sell the Regal and get an old truck-based SUV. I would prefer to have a 4 door with a huge trunk so I am looking for 1973-1991 Suburbans, but that isn't eligible in this forum game. My next pick would be a Dodge Ramcharger. I would want one that is can have the entire roof removed because why not. The ones I have seen have been around $3000 which is close to what it cost me to get my Regal roadworthy.
