Not diecast, but they are cars I collect. Not that my iPhone camera has any plans to cooperate with them. Partially due to my own laziness, but let's ignore that part. We all know what these look like anyway.

Got 2/5 of the 2020 Speed Champions.

My thoughts on the new 8 stud format for these:

I initially had reservations, but having these in hand... The detail and build quality is just on another level compared to the old ones. Overall the only bad thing I can say is that I'll have to put them on a different shelf than the old ones. I have some issues with some particulars, but overall I love having the street cars at 8 studs. However, I'm not sure about the formula-E car. It probably would've looked bad at 6 studs with the lack of detail, but I still think they should've keep the F1/Formula E stuff at 6 studs for the sake of scale. It reminds me of the Speed Racer cars from 10 years ago more than I am comfortable with, partially thanks to the massive size. It's the longest of the whole 2020 series...

So, TLV's from December. A little late and the customs charge was a little larger than I'd liked, but that's besides the point.
    Two RX-7 GT-X's,
A Ferrari 365 GT4 BB with it's silly amount of exhaust pipes,
My fifth 787B (this one's from the All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship),
and an Isuzu Elf Panel Van.

    Sort of.

It's part of the ongoing re-edition of the classic "Series 100" line by Solido: https://www.club-solido.com/

New castings and modern manufacturing techniques, they are not meant to be spot-on replicas (like the recent Dinky Toys collection, remade by Norev) but just to resemble classic toys. To emphasize this, most of the models in this line are currently being offered in original, never-before-seen liveries, like the Alfa Romeo pictured.

Differences are quite significant, even though not immediately obvious. For the sake of comparison, see the Peugeot 403 Cabriolet:

Left is the new reinterpretation by Club Solido, while right is a genuine, vintage "Series 100" model.

    Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.

Got the 4GB/128GB version, it replaced both my (dead) LG Nexus 5X phone and my 7" ASUS Nexus 7 tablet at once... :)

The Marina's my fave, looking to buy a Mk2 Marina Coupe irl.

‘Vanguards’ is a line of 1:43 scale model cars by Corgi. Primarily centred on British motoring history.

They carry a whole lot more detail than regular Corgi models and are usually limited run.
(Vanguards is to Corgi like Tomica Limited Vintage is to Red-and-White box Tomica.)

"Vanguards" line includes many non-british vehicles, but they are usually in british spec - so RHD with UK number plates.

I have the Galaxie 500 but it has major issues including paint rash (TLV collectors know the struggle) and some missing paint that does look factory. I am getting a partial refund for it though.

The biggest HLJ order to end all HLJ orders, this has been 2 months in the making. Still works out cheaper than one of the Ferraris retail and maybe a few Tomica premiums.

Shhh, no paint rash, not here.
Not on my TLV Porsche 912. None at all. *cries*
Literally the one Tomica I've spent too much on. Not my most expensive, but most overpriced.

Never buy TLV second hand expecting a deal, the prices only ever increase regardless of condition.
