Post the aircraft that you want to fly/own the most. It could be that your current aircraft is your favorite. Great! Post it!

Of course all private jets are expensive. But I would like to own my own eventually. I would like to be able to fly it by myself, and not pay a crazy high price for it. Those criteria leave me with two practical dream planes: a Cessna Citation Mustang, and the Cirrus Vision SF50. As for non-practical, I'll take a Beech Starship and a Gulfstram G650ER. I also love the Piaggio Avanti Evo and the Cessna TTx.

I met the CEO of Gulfstream on a business trip and he gave me a whole bunch of tat--including three framed prints off of his office wall! He was very kind.

Awwww lucky you!! I am a HUGE Gulfstream fan. Actually, I wouldn't mind a G450, like this one I took a picture of at KAVL:

Nice photography! The prints he ave me were promotional prints of a G450, G550, and G650. And I love the Cessna Citation, mainly the X. It's so fast!

Oh yes, and the X+ recently bumped ahead of Gulfstream as the fastest bizjet!! I love speed in planes. Mach 0.975 will do it for me. Also, can you see my 42 pictures I just uploaded?

Without a question it would have to be the Beech Bonanza, not the V-tail version either; while they look cool, I'd rather not loose my tail-end at 12,000'. I'd even go for one of the mid-50's Beech Debonaires, they were built like a modern conventional-tail Bonanza.

Also: the B737 -- it's what I'm going to school for right now, I might look at jumbos down the road, but for now; regional, mid-range, turbines is where it's at. It'll have to be Boeing though; you wouldn't catch me dead on an Airbus.

Ah, a real Boeing man, eh? What's your favorite? I want to see if I had a hand in designing it or not.

My favorite would certainly have to be the 727, but the 73 is a close second. But heck, if it has a Boeing logo on it, I'm game.

My great-uncle used to fly Boeing Stearmans for the Navy in WWII, and later he flew PBYs... he wrecked both types and totaled a Cherokee in a hanger fire.

Yes! I love the 727! They are beautiful! I made a model and flew it. I am a head engineer at Boeing, so I've had my hand in many pies. We just got the first GE 777x engine, and I got a memo a few days ago that they are going to be slowing the production of the regular 777, and boost the 737.

Oh really?! That's awesome, I considered the engineering route, but I just can't keep my head out of the clouds :) that and I'm really quite awful at math.

I've always been big on Boeing, I was eating lunch at the airport cafe in Moses Lake the other day and saw the new 737-max; beautiful piece of equipment. Not sure how much I like the new 787 though, they're way too quiet; almost eerie, love me some good 'ol fashioned JT8D scream.

I've heard some people say that they like the loudness, but they're usually the real aircraft nerds. And as for that, what was it you called it? "Math?" Never 'eard of it. I always try to go back to how things were done, and then try to improve upon that while still maintaining the history of the piece. Not too much "history" can be kept nor reflected upon when designing a new internal part for the turbine, though.

Don't know that I'm a "aircraft nerd" lol; I barely remember my own V-speeds. Turbines are pretty advanced pieces of equipment, considering I currently fly a 150hp Lycoming O-320, now that's history... like ancient stuff.

You two sure are ahead of me in your experience...but I'll be there someday! I can't wait for the 777-9X to appear. I too am a fan of Boeing. Airbus is too computerized.

Oh yes! I feel so comfortable here surrounded by:
    1.Pilots
    2.Boeing guys
As of my favourite aircraft... I have been thinking about that for a while. I'm still desiding between 737NG and 777X. Both of them are magnificent. I want to see one of these so much!

But now I can only enjoy the 777-200ER on my "little" transatlantic flight

I would have to say the Boeing 787-10X or the Boeing 777-9X300ER but nothing is wrong with the Boeing 737-MAX.

737-100,-200,-300 because i flew almost all 737's except Max9/Max10 and those bucket reversers and JT8D are super sick

Cool! I didn't work on the propulsion units for those aircraft. I came on the team after those generations. I agree, the bucket reversers are cool!
