Because this is how the game sorts tables. Nothing I can change. I am currently working on this. This, too is not in my power. Some characters may be supported, some won't. This depends on whether or not LUA and JSON can handle said character.
Ok. Are you aware of those "shuttering" issue? I mean the audio seems to go to break of to only one ear sometimes for a millisecond. And it gets wrose the faster the vehicle gets. And it happends sometimes in walk mode. But only really when traffic is spawned, as far i can tell. And i just wonder since this is 3D sound, if all the audio files shouln't be converted to mono. As it gets stereo with the 3d sound playback. And why does some vehicles sound todally off while playing? I mean, that you can hear it only on one ear because the playback of the sound seems to have some offset from the driver position. Some cars, there you hear it only on both ears really while looking down with the first person camera. And some its like on the left side from the driver seat. Like the attachment would have variations. Another issue i found was that if you play a song and leave the vehicle and go away from it, a few meters and then enter the car back. The song is like muted. Still playing but nothing can be heard. But works again once switched to the next song/back And is it possible to fix that the song/radio is getting resetted on respawn?

I cant get this to work for the life of me i need help, the JSON file has no errors and ive followed every step as i was told and it just does not work. i'll add some screenshots and tell me what ive done wrong.

I'm having an issue where the trackTable.json file doesn't appear. In the screenshot below, I went through BeamNG.drive/0.25/mods/unpacked/zeit_radio/settings/zeit/radio. Is it possible to create one? Only trackTableDefault.json appears in the radio folder
I can't get this mod working for me. It is probably outdated because the game acts as if I don't have an engine and it says that the mod is broken. If the mod is outdated or broken could you please fix it because I really want to use this mod this error message goes away when I disable the mod

I have a few questions related to the new update. 1. The audio is still muffled 3d right? Since it works now on every car. Thanks for this . 2. Is it normal that the in game track editior only can show 10 slots? Because i obviously added more then 10 but the editor doesn't show it. And yes, i tried mousewheel while being in the ui settings to get around the mouse behind problem. 3. Since the track file and audio files are now seperated from the main mod zip. Will they now remain untouched when a next update gets installed?
Yes, I unfortunately can't do much about this. Though I personally prefer the slightly bass boosted (or, well, muffled) sound as it results in better immersion, at least on my setup. I wasn't able to get more than 10 slots to work, so unfortunately a playlist created using the editor is limited in the number of slots available. They always were supposed to be. The track file was located in the settings folder inside your userfolder outside of the mod since the first release, and my recommended location for the audio files is not the mod itself. An update to the resource won't affect your track table or files, however this comes at the cost of a game update possibly not moving the music files. If this happens you'll have to move them to the new userfolder manually. The tracktable is inside a folder the game itself uses and is therefore safe.
Why you say it like it's bad? The muffled sound is what it makes so realistic. I was just confused by the update that i now don't hear a accustic difference while looking left or right. Which is not bad. But got me questioning if its the same way as before. But it still sounds immersive. Or is there more you wished to have? Ok cool. Nvm. I had to edit the file manually anway as that tool won't let me add all files all at once. Expecially as i had to readd everything i had added before. Gladly i had the original file. I recommend a windows tool solution for that, as it's more flexible and doesn't need you to run the game in the background. But adjusting the volume while inside in the game (real time) is a really great option now when the song is on one of the first 10 in the list (as the slots only show 10) . So it's really nice to have. oh... really? I unpacked to mod zip with the first version to add all the songs. Just to pack it again. I didn't know it was already there Ok, good to know. Then i did something wrong last time. But i guess maybe it was caused by cache clearing and other cleaning tools i used.
Oh, I misunderstood your previous message then. I changed the audio source from 3D to 2D except the mod is now manually cranking down the volume based on distance the camera is outside of the car. The sound muffling is unadjustable although I wish it was. Yes, I wish I had gone this route. Unfortunately I'm no C++ dev and a java based approach didn't work out
apologies for the bump but the mod just duplicates the table even though i modified the exact same .json file at the settings (not on zeit mod itself) folder. i paste these photos here so yeah can you guide me more?
