Tech demo sees my GPU as "GFX null device" and won't use it.

Hello! I just downloaded the tech demo and went straight into the settings to change the GPU it uses and was happy to see it even noticed mine!
I was annoyed when I restarted the game and it used my integrated GPU instead even after I forced it to use it in my GPU's control panel.
I should be able to play it on higher settings and want to, so could anyone help me out? This Nvidea Optimus is getting really annoying.
