I need some help, people are saying that my sandstorm is laggy, yet the mesh is not really as detailed as the default vehicles, is it the mesh or the jbeam? Sorry if its obvious but I'm stumped. I am worried that the rest of my mods might be pc intensive even if its basic. Also idk where to post so let me know if its not the right place.Thank you.
Canyon of speed 2.0 : A lot of work to reproduce the atmosphere of Bryce Canyon region in Utah. Vegetation, grasses and colrs are quite similar I'm happy of the result! I have created a complete library of trees (variety : ponderosa pines, douglas fir trees, rockymountain junipers) and optimisate the render for good fps and work with the wind. I work yet on ground cover : I want to create "manzanita , rabbitbrush and bigsagebrush" bushes to complete the mostly vegetation of brice canyon. You can also take now safe roads to escape destroy bridges ... And work on road textures, now more realistic and less repetitive.
even if this map is going to be 'only' half as good as altitude , this will be a new addition to my favourite maps.

I have the i7 5820K and a GTX960. I don't have lag. If it was the mesh, it would lag, as the 960 is a weak GPU. It can only be the jbeam, which is handled just fine by my 5820k.
You could try to delete the .dae and see how it performs or give the people who have problems a version without the .dae.
just a little test. cant really go further until i can figure out why my beams dont create. i have a thread for in content creation
