Hi all, I've spent the last couple of days with the idea of an H-Series Pickup type vehicle. So today, that's what I made. There is still a bunch to do, but when it is completed, I shall release it. Let me know if you have any idea's for what to do to it. I do need some help however. When I changed the parts of the body, the body turned grey, and the rest is a normal colour. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd be grateful, and you would be given credit for the work you did. So without further ado, I'm releasing a beta version. Please don't complain about the colour issues, as I already know about them. Here is how you install: Just drop it in the mods folder in Documents/BeamNG.Drive. Thank you! If that's one you have made, then you should release it! It looks really cool though! Also @adrian2013 I'm still trying to get better at blender modeling, so this isn't something I'd do very well with.
That link doesn't work for me. I don't know why. It just comes up with error on the page. I think I can see what you were trying to link me to. But I'll look in the resources page a bit later on. On another note, I still need some help sorting out the textures. The body seems to only stay one colour, and it doesn't change. However the parts like the bonnet and the fenders do change colour. If anyone could help I'd be immensely grateful. Thanks in advance!
I've just found out that the material was on the glass one. And the picture was of the door material. I didn't realise till now. Sorry, but thank you for the help The body is still staying one colour, and everything else is changing. I can't work it out
A quick update for everyone: I'm still trying to work out the problems with the materials. It is still only one colour, and the parts such as the doors and hood change. I can't figure it out. I'm trying to change it. So everyone keep your eyes out for the next week or so, as I will post more updates. Thank you everyone!
I'll see what I can do. I don't want to change too much. The reason I did it so low, is because I think it looks better like this. And because I don't know what to do with a lot of things in blender. I'll raise it slightly, but not too much.
Hi all, another update. I'm still working towards getting the colours to be the same. But, I have managed to get it so the body and parts change colour. The body is just a darker version of the colour. Keep following this, as I hope to work it out within the week. So there may be a release later on. Thanks everyone!
