First with an empty trailer, then with a full tasticola trailer Sorry for the poor quality, it's a cut from my stream. Essentially, not so great quality that was made slightly worse by a video cutting tool because I'm an amateur.
If all you're doing is cutting from a single video source, try using Avidemux. Set it to mp4 or avi format based on your source video, then as long as you only edit on key frames (press up or down arrow keys to make sure you're on a keyframe, place markers to enclose the targeted video and either save or delete), it will not reduce the quality or need to re-encode in any way, and demuxing will render much faster than encoding would.
