error code 5

So i have a problem with the game i had the game once on an old hard drive F:/ that hard drive broke so i installed the new one no problems with other games except beam. beam still needs a path to F:/ for some reason and i installed the game new so many times i dont know what to do anymore -.- any help is appreciated. Thx in advance.

 

You have to change your user path, that’s an option in the launcher. Change it to an existing folder, on an existing drive.

Currently it’s trying to find your user folder on a non-existent drive.

 

yeah the only problem with that is i cant get into the launcher :/
that error message comes up before it starts

 

Go to the beam folder, and find the startup thing, you can change it there too, it’s called like “startup.something” you can manually change it there. if you can’t find it,or it doesn’t work, I would recommend asking a staff member for help, as I am currently not at a computer.
