It's not a 0.16 problem but it doesn't look good.

Don't know if this was reported already, but the race seats on the ETK 800 are clipping through the B-pillars.

The hopper XT-4 (M) has significantly higher ride height in the thumbnail compared to all other hoppers.
It's normal when you spawn it though.

Following up on the GPU not responding issue: the only variable that seems to affect stability in a significant way is removing the cache folder. Lowering quality settings did not make a substantial difference.
Can we expect some sort of fix for this, or is it just a few unfortunate subset of users dealing with this problem?

At the moment this is not a spread/confirmed issue, and from what I've seen, seems related to the Nvidia driver version in the majority of the cases.
A few users are having this with the latest drivers, but with older ones it works fine.
Other issues are using the latest drivers, myself included, with no issues tho.

Try checking with different driver versions.

PS. Also the latest few Nvidia drivers had quite some issues.
From making the game crash (340.32 IIRC), to excessive CPU usage (which was supposedly fixed in 340.64)

I've noticed that the low shift points on modern automatics, mostly the ETK 8-speed, are a bit high. In my experience any modern auto will happily stay below 2000 RPM when cruising, but the ETK automatics will never upshift before 2100 RPM. They should probably upshift a lot sooner, they are generally just their ruining efficiency by spinning at 2000 RPM at 30 MPH. If you drop the low shift points, they can pretty much drop all the way to 7th or 8th at 35 MPH, and get way better efficiency because it keeps the engine loaded, and they still drive fine because smart aggression calculation will downshift quickly and easily. Pretty much all smart aggression automatics should have much lower low shift points than they do currently.

PC Specs: Intel Core i7 8700k OC 4.7GHZ, 32 GB of Ram, 1.5 Terabytes of storage combined, 850 Watt PSU, Nidvia GeForce 1080 ( no OC ). I also have the latest drivers and everything and this is the second time I've had this issue, Although it seems that the problem might be the Cinematic shots in the background. When it pans over the tourist center part of the map the video quality is clean and no abnormal problems but when you get to certain pans, it gets all messed up.

The new GPU rendered UI can sometimes have issues with properly rendering the video background. You can counteract this by disabling hardware acceleration in Settings>Graphics, though it'll not be as fast.

In 0.16 it was awesome and alot faster than before, the interface was lightning fast, after update 0.16.2 the interface become sluggish and crappy as it was before :/ Also certain maps are alot slower now

Can anybody help me? I have a strange issue after the 0.16 update. T-Series appear in No Material orange, and sometimes when I spawn a T-Series the game freezes. I cleared cache and disabled all my mods (about 15) but still nothing works. Also, some maps just wouldn't load.

I think the diesel transmission has good 'lowShiftUpRPM:' although on the odd occasion i used a petrol ETK, i did find the gears dragged out a little bit more than i wanted..

Shift up before 2000RPM in the ETK is not practical because of tachnical reason.
Real life vehicle shiftlogic is based on speed, not engine RPM. For example in my 4AT the low throttle shift pattern is 1st-10km/h-2nd-30km/h-3rd-48km/h-4th-65km/h-TClockup-61km/h-TCunlock-40km/h-3rd-25km/h-2nd-5km/h-1st. This logic make the RPM very low, even as low as idle before downshift, thus shift by RPM is not possible. There's also another problem is that when you pull away using 10% or 5% throttle it will shiftup in 10km/h but the RPM are 1800(10%) 1400(5%)due to the TC, if you shift by RPM the 10% throttle will shift up EARLIER than 5%, which is not good.
During my experiment and gearbox modding I discovered that the more the gears, the closer between gear ratios, the harder to shift at a low RPM. If you attempt to do so it'll fluctuate, shiftup and shiftdown over and over again. In this mod I make the automatic to upshift at 3000RPM at low throttle and complete removed the low throttle shift in the sequential(arcade mode) in order to prevent fluctuation.
If BeamNG use speed based shiftlogic it will cause even more problem. Real life vehicles measure speed by driveshaft RPM, thus if you change tire size the speedometer will incorrect but the shiftlogic is OK. BeamNG measure speed by averaging tire spin linear velocity, if the tire size changed, the shiftlogic failed.

I really haven't noticed that problem at all. If you keep smart aggression calculation active, it won't really have much trouble. The ETK 8-speed can be set as low as 1100 for shift down and 1700 for shift up and it'll drive fine. It feels a lot more realistic, it'll basically idle when cruising, especially with the I6, and it's a bit sluggish at low revs, but it'll drop a gear if you give it a little pressure. In my experience, that is exactly how modern autos work, they prefer to be one gear higher than they really should be for efficiency, but will downshift one at around 50% throttle, and kickdown to 2nd if you smash the throttle.
