You can do that with the filters.

However, for some reason, a few updates ago, model years and other information have disappeared in the vehicle selector for many cars.

What may be worthwhile, if the Bluebuck gets multiple body styles under the same vehicle name, would be splitting them up in the UI.

For example, from the main vehicle selector, single-clicking on the Bluebuck will bring you to a config selector that gives you an option to double-click for either a default Bluebuck sedan or a default wagon. Single-clicking on either image will allow you the full range of sedans or wagons.

You could also use that to divide cars with facelifts, like the ETK I, Moonhawk, and Piccolina. It would also make some sense to divide the SBR4 and ESBR.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I mean being able to use filters after having clicked on a vehicle sub-menu, so I could click on, say, the ETK-I, and then seperate out the pre-facelift and facelifted versions.

We don’t have a big 6-7l big block, which seems bizzare, looking at the concurrent trucks.

Well, we did just get the diesel, so there could be a big block coming down the pike. V10 not so much; they've said they weren't planning to do anything with the V10 sound, which is now outdated anyway.

The 6L diesel is a stroker, not a big block.

Well what I mean is, they're still adding new engines for older cars, so they could add a big block next.

The 423 and 353 are both already big blocks.

Chevy small block went up to 6.6L, big block started at 5.7L. Chevy trucks of this era went up to mid 7 liters (C/K) or low 8 liters (Silverado), whereas the D-Series only goes up to 5.5L

I know, but they're from an older generation.

Though given that the 3/4-ton and 1-ton Chevy C/K used a 454 through 1998, and the Silverado picked up a 496ci variant afterwards, I could see a "modernized" 423 (fuel injection etc.) finding its way into the heavier variants of the D-series. In real life, during this time period, every domestic full-size pickup had a "diesel torque, gas power" engine; GM used 454ci and 496ci V8s, Dodge had their 488ci V10, Ford used a 460ci V8 first and then a 415ci V10. In order to accurately represent these trucks, the D-series needs a bigger gasoline engine.

Furthermore, there is historical precedent for an extended-length, heavy-duty Roamer powered by the diesel or hypothetical heavy gasoline engine; Ford (Excursion) and GM (Suburban 2500/3500) both built SUVs in this style.

I would think taxi and lowrider configs should me a must. A beater/banger could also be great

Speaking of configs, arguably Mythbusters most infamous myth is the JATO car; the first time they visited this myth was with a 1966 Impala. Although the mythbusters didn't have real JATO rockets, we already have one in game... Just saying.

Most times the story specifies an Impala, thus it would be perfect.

This thread was created back in 2013. When will the car go public? I am just curious because I really love old cars. That being said a 1966 Chevy Impala would be beaten by a 2016 Honda Odyssey or in BeamNG the 1955 V8 Burnside was beaten by the 1996 I4 Pessima.

Ok. Thank you. I am looking forward to its release. About 0.17 BeamNG has not had even a tiny update for over a month. When will that come?

updates come (on average) every 107 days / 3 and a bit months, so, if the last update was may (not counting hotfixes), 0.17 should (all being well) release in august/september
