    It’s because the traffic tool works by teleporting vehicles, not spawning new ones.

    Yeah as CrimsonCrocodile says, thats not a bug, thats how the traffic tool does what it does so efficiently. Its not meant to change the vehicles, it can randomise the colours but thats all.

    Hello. I just downloaded the mod and would like to ask about AI driving is the wrong direction. Like AI driving on highway the wrong way and other stuff like that. is this how Beam AI works and can it be toggled to only go one way on highway/one way roads ?

    The AI does respawn and drive in the correct direction on highways with oneWay = true. However, some maps (including Utah and West Coast) currently don't have it set up that way in the map. It will be corrected in the future. Try the Italy highway for a fun experience!

    Are there gonna be plans to allow the vehicles to use turn signals? It gets annoying when one turns and crashes into you

    I love that Traffic tried to flee when you are a cop car. Though it woulbe nice if you could bust them as Al police can. Kia stupid that they stiltry t escape, even if you block them/totaled the car

    First off, this is a great mod. I experimented by creating a low beam/node car (its a BMW with 18% the nodes of the Pigeon) and I was able to add 15 AI cars with very little slowdown, even on my aging I5. Note though the BMW has no tires (rims only), little suspension, and very basic crash damage. But it's an early prototype. If someone were so inclined, you could have a group of basic city cars/trucks/buses populating your map. Then you could have the full midtown madness experience.

    This is a pretty damn good mod on its own!
    But, knowing that the mod is still a WIP, I think I have some ideas to add into your list of possible implementations:

    I suggest implementing a basic "Race" option for the AI
    The kind of race I'm thinking isn't really race as a competition, but more like some sort of track day.

    Basically:
    Make them take high "risk" (so they go fast around corners),
    have a "Sport" option for the Car Selection for sports cars only,
    make AI go the same direction as the player (maybe this bit might be a bit hard to do),
    and spawn with higher starting speed

    I sorta did a makeshift version of this by setting the car AI to "Flee" and making the speed limit 300km/h, but the AI gets pretty erratic because of the fleeing.
    Not sure how difficult this will be to implement, but I think it would make a good addition to your already great mod.

    Ah, I'd love to do this! That was one of my favorite things to do in Test Drive Unlimited 2; call for a race, and the goal would be automatically placed for you. I'm quite busy now, so I'm not even working on mods, but I have a good idea on how to implement this.

    Gosh, I haven't even checked the forums for a while. I'm hoping to post more later, but for now I'll say that cool stuff is on its way :) .

    Looking forward to see more. What would be nice, if fleeing Al when you are the cop, could be stoped just like they can stop you, instead of being like normal fleeing Al.

    I forgot my steam password so now I have to see what email I used and all of that stuff but the traffic tool is REALLY AMAZING and I look forward to all of the possibilities for the traffic tool.

    I use the TrackIR5 head tracking system. Best £100 I have ever spent on my setup. It's soo useful for driving and flight sims.

    Somewhat, yes. I'll explain this in detail when the time comes.

    Hmm, does normal AI work on the map? If a map has no AI road data, then traffic won't work. Your best bet would be to message the creator of the map about this.
