BeamNG's UI is kind of weird in how it bogs down the game and computer, but there is a suggestion on this forum to turn off the Game Mode in the control panel in Windows 10 which can help. I have a pretty fast computer so it doesn't make much difference, maybe just a little, but it's worth a try. You can also try disabling the Game Bar, also in the control panel. I think I ended up keeping the Game Mode but disabling the Game Bar, which seems to help a little bit.

Cleared cache, disabled mods, updated to 0.17.2. ECUSA still doesn't work.

See if you have anything in My Documents\BeamNG\levels that you don't recognize as your modifications. If so, delete it.

The last few updates have been stuffing modifications in both my vehicles and levels. I don't know if it's also mod-related, but it sure seems related to the updates.

After the latest "fix", My game is completely broken... Was working fine before but now all I get is a black screen with the menu on the side..

    qlioLQm.png

I even tried safe mode, same thing.
And the game crashes when I close it.

Please try to rename the beamng.drive documents folder ( here : \Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Documents\BeamNG.drive )
then start again the game, if it work correctly, then you had a conflicting leftover file from a mod on your documents folder

**Unfortunately "Safe Mode" can't completely disable All type of mods for now**

Have some issues with *Animations with 3d people not working with the new updates - issues explained on this post..
    https://www.beamng.com/threads/animations-broke-in-0-17-3d-people.64269/

If anyone that works on the game is interested in a bit of a adjustment for a larger 3d crowd system for the game, information is in the above link and just take note if you also implement the ability to play animations with the checkbox in the same way for use with the "Forest Editor" you can have 500 1000 and more of people animated without near the frame rate loss vs individual TSStatic objects. Can this feature be added to the Forest Editor? I would love to include this kind of 3d crowd realism in the map I'm recreating for the game (Biloxi Dragway 1957-1967) without major fps loss! This would be a great breakthrough for the game engine to top off all the wonderful work that you guys have put into it!

    Animated 3d People - 3d Crowd
TSStatic - > Forrest Editor - Animations Checkbox

    Thanks greatly for your time
    on this problem,

    Cory Evans

Could someone tell me why my covet (as far as i know its the covet i cant load, even the official covet doesn't work) is getting squished or implodes and then my game pauses because of "instability detected, stopping game" (well, something along those lines) like, the covet just disappears and then the game pauses :(

Noticed that AI traffic like to drive up and down the drag strip on west coast, when you get close to it. This may be impossible to avoid though due to the ai routes for the drag strip. Just thought id mention it though.

I've tried out the sport model of the Bluebuck and I've noticed two things:

    1. The engine overheats after some racing
    2. The steering wheel obstructs the clock on the sport dashboard

Sport or RoadSport? If it's the RS I'm surprised you managed to drive it for long enough to figure that out, considering that the Bluebuck RS is one of the single most unpleasant vehicles in the entire game to drive in anything other than a straight line.

It's the sport model. Either way, both of them shouldn't overheat from racing, either in a straight line or in a circuit.

You forget that the Bluebuck is from 1963. Cars, and radiators, from that period aren't exactly meant to be driven hard and parked wet, if you catch my drift.

To be a little more on topic for the thread, has anyone else noticed that the radiators for the Grand Marshall are completely missing? There's no option to change them out in the parts selector.

Worse thing is if you manage to "fill" that heat gauge on the UI Tacho it will cooling down slowly. As long you'll keep that heat level below that it'll cool down almost immediately.

With the new (and nice !) starters sounds, there could be an option to start with the engine off, with that we could fully appreciate the new sounds :D

I manage to rip off the doors in Bluebuck with one beam still attached to them. It was impossible to break so it keep follow the car.

Totally realistic imo. On 2nd point : Many cars IRL have this steering wheel blocking visibility going on too only IRL you just need to

For @SuperEmbracer : The Bluebuck is a 1960's "economy" American Sedan. It has the next generation or a tuned up version of the Burnside Special's radiator. The Burnside Special is the quickest vehicle (with a radiator) to overheat. The good news for the Bluebuck the better version of it's radiator means that if you let go of the gas for 5 seconds you lose about 10-30% heat gain each time but you will slowly overheat the vehicle. This is normal for a old car from the Early 60's even a sports version. If you are having problems with overheating Please just put the High performance radiator in it, this should solve all your problems

For @Shotgun Chuck the Bluebuck has the same problems as the Bolide 390 GTR and SBR4 twin turbo stage 2 without traction control. It's also suppost to feel like a boat with a stupid big engine in it. Try driving the Burnside Special Custom and it will exhibit similar problems. All Bluebucks are drifting machines, get good a drifting with the most controllable keyboard drifting car in the game atm. Edit: To add one of the best things to do with the Bluebuck is to just let off the gas when you are trying to go strait for a second (keyboard) and then immediately go again. The gear 3 burnout will no happen if you do this.
Last Edit: I will agree the Burnside custom is horrible.
