Animations broke in 0.17 (3d People)

I have 3d people in a map being worked on (PlayAmbient) animations is no longer working since the 0.17 update and the objects are now static.

A much larger 3d crowd can be added to the game (real scale of many people) through the forest editor. Can this idea be brought to the attention to the game designers? If a (PlayAmbient) checkbox could be added to the forest editor for these objects the game engine would likely be able to handle large 3d crowds with animations with far less fps loss.

I hope you saved an older version of the game ?
I mean, you look like some sort of developer myself if I'm seeing that picture correctly

Here's a video fron last year showing the 3d people animations working well and now they sit static with the new update 0.17.0.2.
